The North East Youth Development League was founded by Killingworth Young Peoples club in 2008 as a new Saturday u11 junior league, Killingworth Young Peoples club has run mini soccer leagues for over 10 years and in 2009/10 season KYPC will rename the KYPC mini soccer league the North East Youth Development League.
It is the North East Youth Development league plan to run junior festivals and leagues from u7 to u17 in the future adding a age group every season at present we cater for u7,u8,u9,u10,u11 and u12 junior football we also have plans to move into girls and womans football.
There will be two managment commitees to run the mini soccer league and under 11 league along with different web sites for mini soccer and 11 a side football.
All Saturday mini soccer leagues will be held at the home of KYPC, all Sunday mini Soccer leagues will be run indoors at Blue Flames Sporting Club all u11 and above leagues will play home and away games.
It is the North East Youth Develpoment leagues intention to make junior football a safe and friendly place for young people to play orgnised football.
